I overslept this morning. I remember my alarm clock going off and hitting the snooze button. The next thing I know I'm waking up and wondering why it's so bright outside. It was 7:25. Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I don't know, not much has been going on in my life at the moment. The biggest thing that's happened is that I took an editing class last weekend. My belly dance teacher recently gave us DVD copies of the recital we did back in April. Last night I ripped the footage and edited some of the performances together in WMM.

This past Saturday my best friend, Kari, and I traveled across the bay to Richmond so that we could attend Rakkasah! Rakkasah is the West Coast's largest belly dancing convention. It takes place once every March and it is absolutely huge! They take over the entire Richmond Auditorium and they have wall to wall vendors selling the most gorgeous ( Read more... )

I am happy to announce that I have gotten back into the habit of attending belly dancing lessons on a regular basis. Now that I have a job with a normal schedule, I never have to worry whether or not I'm going to miss a lesson. The class is at 7:30 and I get off at 5, so there's more than enough time to get there.
